The turkey woods have lost a legend, but his voice will live on.
Col. Tom Kelly passed away at the age of 99, leaving behind a legacy that reaches generations of turkey hunters. Through Tenth Legion and his unforgettable storytelling, he put into words what so many of us feel when we hear that first gobble on a spring morning.
He understood the anticipation, the frustration, the laughter, and the memories that keep us coming back. His words gave a voice to the love we carry for the wild turkey and the traditions surrounding it.
As we remember the Colonel, we’re reminded to treasure every sunrise, every hunt, and every person beside us in the woods.
Our prayers are with his family, friends, and everyone whose life was touched by his stories.
Rest easy, Colonel. Thank you for the words, the wisdom, and a lifetime devoted to something we all hold dear. 🦃
