What’s better than a Cheeseburger in paradise? Are you gonna put your fins on the left? Ah, forget it…I lost my shaker of salt and things just haven’t been right ever since. I need a trip on down to just waste away again in…Margaritatown. “Strawberry MargaritAsheville” is a Strawberry Margarita GF Sour, here just in time to transport you on down to a totally not cease-and-desist-free and unassociated Margaritatown. This blissed-out bevvy was conditioned on a big wave of Lime, Lemon, Strawberry, and Sea Salt. 

Don’t overthink it! It’s a Strawberry Marg in GF Sour form! HUZZAH!

“Bigspin” is our West Coast Pale Ale! What’s that, you say? “Didn’t this used to be an XPA? What exactly did we change? Did we change nothing but the name and a fresh new label?” IDK, MAN! NOBODY UNDERSTOOD XPA ANYWAY AND JUST TOLD US TO CALL IT A PALE ALE! SO WE UPPED THE DRY HOP WITH STRATA AND HERE WE AREEEE!

We’ve been searching near and far for the ULTIMATE CRUSHER, and we’ve continuously gotten close in one way or another, but we finally cracked the code! AGAIN! Light bodied, just bitter enough to balance it all out, hoppy in a nice and fruity way without being overwhelming, and just enough brightness and minerality to keep it crisp and refreshing. Oh yeah, and it’s a clear Pale Ale. No haze in sight here, gang. LONG LIVE PALE ALE!

Mashed with 100% Riverbend Malt House, comprised of their Czech Pilsner, with just a touch of Chit Malt for foam stability and cohesion. Hopped throughout the Boil and Whirlpool with lot-specific Motueka from Eggers Hops, fermented with our House Ale Yeast strain, and spunded for that soft natural carbonation we all know and love. Dry hopped only once, and gently, with Citra Cryo and a dash of Estate-grown Strata from the great Crosby Hops.

Bright, crisp, citrus-meets-tropical fruit, slightly floral, slightly dank, super balanced, incredibly crushable, and VERY clean on the backend. Like a whisper of hops across a citrus grove. It just keeps you wanting more.

“Corporate Brutality” one of our very first Southern Hemisphere West Coast IPAs is BACK, BABY! And, as is tradition here, it has been re-tooled and revamped, YET AGAIN! Originally brewed in collaboration with Zac Bender to celebrate the opening of DSSOLVR Durham (and adorned with the same artwork that adorns our Durham taproom!), we brewed it again to celebrate their one-year anniversary, but then realized we actually love this IPA and needed to make a few more tweaks.

Mashed with 100% Riverbend Malt House, comprised of Chesapeake Pils and a fat dose of Chit Malt. Hopped aggressively throughout the boil with Ella, and then hammered in the Whirlpool with Egger’s Motueka and hot-dipped in the FV with Vic Secret Prysma to really crank up the mid-palate/lingering tropical character to the ma###. Fermented to total dryness with our House Ale Yeast and spunded for 100% natural carbonation. Dry hopped only once, but with a huge smattering of Ella, Vic Secret, and Nelson Sauvin Cryo for an extra tropical-dank-resinous kiss.

This one is absolutely begging you to call HR from the assault of fruity-resinous tones. You may have to file a TPS Report to account for all the tastebuds you’ll be pulling out of inventory due to the onslaught of Passionfruit, overripe Pineapple wedges, and Lime-Peach goodness. Don’t be afraid to cash in some PTO once you come out of your cave of dankness from all the sticky-icky in there, too! Idk corporate jargon anymore. It’s got major synergy, okay?

BACK TO THE FARMHOUSE ALES! With our foray into traditional Belgians, we figured it was high time to listen to the other requests we have seen continue to keep coming up: “Y’all got any real sours?” Well, turns out that we do! And it’s been over 3 years in the making!

“ABSOLVE” is a blended Farmhouse Saison that’s been bottle conditioned for over 2 years. Originally fermented in two separate Oak Foeders, comprised of a Hoppy Saison base and a Berliner Base, then blended at a rate of 50:50 to get a nice balance of Funk and Acid. Comprised of 100% Riverbend Malt, and fermented entirely with our own proprietary Wild Yeast and Bacteria. Matured in each Oak Foeder for a minimum of a year, then blended and bottled with Wildflower Honey from Walker Honey Farm for over 2 years until the PEEERRRFFFEEECCCT time: RIGHT FU**IN NOW.

We get big notes of that classic acid-washed Horse-Blanket-Brett funk we all know and love, Wheat Bread ripped with your bare hands and drizzled in Honey, beautiful Oaky vanilla tannins, a bright and zesty bag of Sour Patch kids, all wrapped up with a super punchy Farmhouse Ester bow right on top.

Our newest TDH DIPA is here! “Love Computer” is a collab with our buds Oklawaha Brewing Company . While we’ve known Zach and Joe and Judson for some time, we thought it would be pretty rad to find something that made sense and have been hashing ideas for far too long!  We wanted to smash up two recipes of ours, so we went with “Supercomputer” from us and “Hendo Love” from Oklawaha, a core beer for each of us! Rather than combine our recipes though, we took the hopping schedule from each recipe and combined it, then ramped it up with our TDH treatment on a big ol’ DIPA.

This TDH Hazy DIPA is packed to the gills with more Hops than most can handle. Mashed with Riverbend Malt House Czech Pils for the most pale base we could muster, then fluffed up to the heavens with Riverbend Oat Malt and Flaked Oats. We hit it in the Whirlpool with Citra AND Mosaic Cryo, on top of a Hot Dip in the FV with Citra Prysma. Fermented with our House Hazy IPA yeast, dry-hopped first with a very large charge of Mosaic and El Dorado CGX, spunded for 100% natural carbonation, and then double-dry-hopped with an obnoxious volume of more Citra and Amarillo CGX, THEN triple-dry-hopped with a very heavy dose of Mosaic Liquid Lupulin in the Brite for that extra heavy berry-meets-guava good-good dank-dank top note.

The process of creating something new from a combo of well-known hop bills in a collaboration is so exciting BECAUSE of the complexity, and the changes we make always just push both parties forward while trying to pay homage to the base beers. Plus, the Oklawaha crew was SO SO supportive and sweet, came out to spend the brew day with us, and we’re just over the moon that it came out this well!

A super fluffy body, bursting with notes of fuzzy and sweet White Peach wedges, mountains of that good dried Mango from Trader Joe’s, a nice handful of Blueberries straight off the branch, a fresh bag of Big League Chew in an Orange Julius, and just a smidge of that sweet stinky stanky danky to tie the room together.

UV Sessions is BACK BABY!! DSSOLVR’s daytime patio dance party, full of sunlight and high vibes, is just what we need to get summer started off on the right foot. We will be soaking up the sun once a month, JUNE EDITION is Saturday 6/13 from 1–4PM. boys_camp will be rolling solo on the decks this month, spinning house, dance, and genre-blurring grooves made for swaying, dancing, and connecting. This go-round we will have tasty bites available from our new DSSOLVR Kitchen, a new custom built shade structure for the DJ booth, and we are releasing a special UV Sessions HARD SELTZER to go along with the festivities.

👁️ Y’ALL ARE EXCEPTIONAL AND EXCEPTIONAL FOLKS DESERVE “EYE LIFE PREMIUM!” 👁️

We’ve long been fans of the truly beautiful humans down in Fort Myers, Florida, so we knew we had to bring this one back!. We always seem to find ourselves waxing philosophical about our favorite Beers to brew being American Lite Lager, and how much we love using Local Malt to put our own spin on the style, so we figured this was the PERFECT time to whip one up! And thus, “Eye Life Premium” was born!

Mashed with a loving (AND SECRET!) blend of 100% Malts, hopped ever-so-gently with yet even more secret additions, and fermented with our House Lager Yeast. Of course, it was spunded for natural carbonation before being laid down to rest in one of our Horizontal Lager Tanks.

And with that, we are very happy to say this is our best version of the style yet. Cold, crisp, just enough bite to match the high minerality, just enough hop character to tie the whole room together, and just enough character to keep you wanting a LIIIIIITLE bit more. Just like 4-8 more Pints, nothing crazy. Fresh-baked bread, Wildflowers, a touch of Green Tea, and a very beautiful balance. F**k yeah.

“What Goes Up” is here to help cleanse you of your Summer Scaries. Modeled after everyone’s favorite fruit-cake-that-isn’t-fruitcake, the Pineapple Upside Down Cake (if you disagree, I regret to inform you that you are wrong).

Two years ago, our buds invited us out to Athens, Ohio to whip up a multitude of projects, and now that our BA Barleywine out there is almost ready (YEAAAAHHH!), it felt fitting to brew our side of the collab. Out in Athens, the first thing we brewed was a Mixed Culture Hard Seltzer modeled after a Pineapple Upside Down Cake, so this was the natural progression. This is that same approach, but in our “GF Sour” form with a new “Cake” treatment we are trying to lock in!

We took our GF Sour base, added in Pineapple, Brown Sugar, Caramel, Vanilla, and a bit of Cherries, and then conditioned that on Gluten-free Granola and Cake. 

It tastes like a cake that just came out of the oven and pulled a Fresh Prince (got flip-turned upside down). But also it’s a GF Sour. Pineapple, cake, baked goods, a kiss of Cherry, Brown Sugar and Caramel…we packed alllllll the flavors into one beautiful little morsel.
