Well, Big Belly is in the books. Not our best cook but we learned some things this weekend and we will see how we can improve for the next comp. Thank you to my ABSOLUTELY AMAZING WIFE Cristi Allman Baker for keeping me focused and keeping us headed in the right direction. I love you and would not be the person l am without you. You make me better. I wouldn't want to do this with anyone but you! Jurassic Bark BBQ

6th place overall
5th place chicken
Tied for 4th brisket
10th place ribs
And a super disappointing 11th place "Puffer Shark" pork.

We will improve!

Well this weekend Ron Baker and I did a thing.....a pro only bbq comp thing...as many of you know, we cook backyard but a pro team/friend was unable to go so he gifted us his spot.....(thank you). Our main goal was to not come in last but knew it was a great possibility. The teams we competed against were big names and have their fair shares of grands, reserves and even team of the year. We learned a lot and paid attention to a lot of advice given to us. We placed 13th in chicken, 13th in ribs, 15th in pork and 4th in brisket for an overall of 14th. We are super proud of ourselves and had a great time. Thank you to all the teams for your support and we will gladly fill in for numbers on any pro only contest. For now, we will finish out the backyard season while we make a few upgrades. Congrats to Allen and Tom with GitChewSum Bbq on Grand and Tim Maloy, Backyard Bro’s on Reserve...see you all next weekend for the final comp for a couple of months.

Well my love and I traveled to St. Augustine this weekend to compete in the Jimmy Jam BBQ Slam...it was a lot of fun and a few bumps but the end result is 2nd in chicken, 4th in ribs....we don't have the scores for pork or brisket as we did not place in the top 10 for those but ended up with 5th overall....now to take a month off and decide if we are going to cook Mulberry or not....hmmmm...Congrats to all that walked..

Hello all....the 2021 bbq season is under way. It will not be as busy as pre covid but there are a few. Jurassic Bark had a great beginning with taking home 5th in Chicken, 2nd in Ribs and 5th in Pork for a Reserve Grand Champion.

Hello everyone, I know it is a little late but letting you know we are offering hams and turkeys again for Christmas. For those of my die hard, we can do butts again as well. Lol

The price of the pork butts are $25.00 each, 12-14lb smoked turkey for $50.00 and 8-10lb smoked ham for $40.00. We are also offering 15lb Brisket for $100.00.
