Calling anyone who works in the service industry, small businesses, families or friends of someone who works in the service industry, or if you've simply just ever left a tip: We've created a petition calling for the complete elimination of taxes on tips. Please take a moment to read and sign and share. This issue is close to my heart as a small business owner because I see firsthand how it affects my employees and fellow business owners. I watch my employees lose a significant portion of their hard-earned money to taxes which affects their paychecks (they pay higher taxes immediately because of tips which lowers their paychecks), and I also see the increased payroll taxes my business pays on tip income we never receive.
