Today we are having chicken and dressing or pork cutlets in gravy..mashed taters..green beans..cream corn..hashbrown casserole..mac and cheese..squash casserole..and sweet tater casserole..Mexican or regular cornbread or roll..for dessert we have German chocolate cake and fried peach or fried apple pies..have a blessed day everyone!! Just want to thank everyone for your support the last year and a half. I am truly going to miss y'all and miss the business itself as well. Y'all stay safe and wish everyone the best. Love you all!!

Today's post is one that I have known that was coming one day and today I will share it on my page. This week we will only be open Friday..Saturday and Sunday. I am sorry to say Sunday will be our last day at Mama Nems. I want to thank everyone for the support you have given to us..especially through some really tough times. Sometimes I just wanted to throw in the towel..but I had a dream and with everyone's support throughout this past year and a half and The Good Lord's will to see me through it all..I made it. But there comes a time in your life..(if you are lucky enough to have a parent at my age)..to take care of your Mom as she once took care of me. There is no higher honor in my book. Now is that time. I need to be with her and get her out of the house on days she feels well enough to do so and just talk and make some more memories. She taught me everything I know about cooking and as a child growing up.. I never thought I would love cooking..(Dad wouldn't believe it because I was always outside with him and Keevin and never boiled water) but that is my passion and I got to live my dream and for that..I am thankful. There are so many people I want to thank..but in order not to miss anyone..thank you Freddy for your love and patience..thank you everyone who came to eat with us..thank you to all those who worked for me and with me..thank you to everyone who put in a good word for us..thanks to Kip and Heather and Keevin for believing in me and most of all..Thank you Lord for carrying me through..Love you all!!!!
