Besties Biscuit Wagon

10/14/2026

Besties is heading back to the Anderson County Farmers Market @ The Old Depot! Saturday morning 8:30-12 or until we sell out. Come on out for some hot buttery biscuits and visit your Market before heading to the Burgoo for more local shopping!

Tonight’s dinner at the Besties house is brought to you by Waller Fields and Oxbow Meats. Eric made Gnocchi we got from Waller Fields and a creamy, cheesy scratch made sauce with bacon from Oxbow and peas. Then topped with some sun-dried tomatoes and a bit more cheddar cheese! So YUMMY!

So we’ve got a mid-week dinner experiment from Eric. This one contains an ingredient he’s never had before. Oxtail. Thank you to Oxbow Meats for the oxtails and Erwen Winery for the amazing Italian Luna Rosa w**e he used in this. Also a big thank you to Jamie Oliver for the recipe! This oxtail stew was absolutely delicious!

It’s been a minute since we’ve done this. Eric has made his take on shepherds pie that he calls Cattlemen’s Pie. It’s a mix of beef from Big Turtle Farm and Bison from Oxbow Meats.
