Some people have comfort food, I have comfort projects. I adore these simple, versatile, darling trays and how easy it is to just shut my brain off for a bit and make something unique and whimsical. No worrying about the perfect design or best technique, no worrying about anything at all, just fun! 🤩

I don’t always do cakes, but when I do they’re for a special event, like lovely autumn weddings. This naked cake was a rich chocolate with vanilla buttercream and a luscious vanilla mousse filling, paired well with chocolate and vanilla cupcakes and some darling pony cookies, decorated like the bride’s two horses. I was pretty proud of this order and was sure to pour extra love into each item. 🥰

Today’s event was an absolute blast, full of awesome people and their awesome doggos! Successful markets are always a blessing, especially in today’s economy, so I cannot thank everyone enough for your enthusiasm and support! Special thanks to The Flying Dutchman for allowing me to represent DAWG, and Howling Peaks for hosting one of the most fun markets I’ve ever been part of. I’m back in the kitchen in the morning for work on a wonderful order I’m looking forward to delivering, but first, sleep!
