Yesterday's Friday Fling was one for the books... our biggest day yet! 🎉🍌

To everyone who stopped by for banana bread, Squaookies, art, stickers, or just to chat—thank you. Every purchase, conversation, laugh, and kind word means more than you know.

One of my favorite parts of the day was watching my daughter absolutely shine. ❤️ Every event she becomes more confident, more comfortable talking with customers, and better at sales. Seeing her grow through this business has been one of the greatest rewards of this entire adventure.

We were also blown away by the response to our artwork! We had some amazing conversations about creativity, music, and what inspires people. Those moments remind me that Samsquatch Provisions & Trading has always been about more than banana bread—it's about bringing people together through food, art, and shared stories.

One question we heard over and over was:
"Will you be at the Alaska State Fair?"

As much as we'd LOVE to be there, the honest answer is no. Right now we're still a very small, family-run business. The amount of baking, preparation, and staffing required for a two-week event like the fair is simply more than we can take on. We'd rather keep making the best banana bread we possibly can than spread ourselves too thin.

We'll get there someday. 💚

Until then, thank you for helping our little business grow one loaf, one Squaookie, one piece of art, and one conversation at a time. You are making this dream possible, and we couldn't be more grateful.

Now... if you'll excuse me, I have bananas that are giving me the look. 🍌😂

Well... it's been one of THOSE weeks. 😅

Between packing boxes, moving, hauling stuff, and trying to remember which box I accidentally packed the tape in... I've been squeezing in baking whenever I could. (Sleep? Never heard of her.)

But somehow... the banana bread gods smiled upon me. 🍌🍞

We'll be back at Friday Fling TOMORROW, stocked up, smiling (probably fueled by caffeine), and ready to feed all you wonderful bread-loving weirdos.

Think banana bread and a bakery cookie had a delicious little forest adventure together. Soft, chewy, loaded with banana goodness, tart cranberries, and just a hint of orange to make your taste buds do a happy dance.

🚨 New Squaookie "Dropping" Tomorrow at the LINKS Resource Fair! 🚨

I just ate one for quality control purposes, and now I'm facing the toughest decision of the day: share it with others... or mysteriously make the rest disappear. 🤔🍪

If you see me guarding the cookie tray like a Samsquatch protecting its treasure, mind your business. Come grab one before my self-control completely fails.
