This weekend at the Z-Labs Family Reunion, 3rd Coast Family Farms brought home another Cannabis Cup, and I couldn’t be more proud of my husband.

People see the trophy, but they don’t always see what it represents.

They don’t see the late nights after working full-time jobs. The weekends spent tending plants instead of relaxing. The setbacks, the failures, the rebuilding, the makeshift grow rooms, or the determination to keep chasing a dream no matter how difficult the road became.

Every harvest has been a labor of love. Every cup has been earned.

To stand on that stage for the third time is proof that passion, consistency, and never giving up will always matter.

Congratulations, my love. You inspire me every single day with your work ethic, your knowledge, and your unwavering commitment to this plant. I know this is only the beginning of what 3rd Coast Family Farms is going to accomplish.

Third coast Family Farm As you get ready to send your entries off to Michigan, I just want you to know how incredibly proud I am of you.

These last four years haven’t been easy. We left behind the comfort of owning our home, started over in New Mexico, worked full-time jobs, and somehow still found the energy every evening to chase our dream. We’ve built our business in makeshift sheds and spare rooms, making the best of what we have while never losing sight of where we’re going.

Through it all, I’ve watched your dedication, your talent, and your passion never waver. You’ve already proven what you’re capable of by winning this competition twice before, but what impresses me most isn’t the trophies—it’s the heart, determination, and endless hours you pour into your craft every single day.

No matter what happens, you are already a champion in my eyes. But I truly hope this is another moment where the world recognizes what I’ve always known: that you have a gift.

I hope every dream we’ve been working so hard toward starts falling into place. I hope this is one more step toward our own land, our permanent grow, and the life we’ve spent years sacrificing to build. You deserve every bit of success that comes your way, and I’ll always be your biggest fan.

Well 4th of July Fireworks went off all around our home last night and IDGF. My bother and sister were relaxed because we had the CBD cookies my mom makes for us. No Thundershirt needed here, like they ever worked. We used to be all panting, barking and pacing for hours. Now we eat a cookie and get into mama’s bed and Netflix & chill on 4th of July!
