A cake you can’t seat on… IYKYK 👀

I love bringing the unconventional ideas to life. The more challenging the design, the more fun I have creating it.🛋️

🍓 A berry sweet cake 🎂

Did you know I offer hand-sculpted fondant characters for your custom cakes? Every character is made completely by hand and customized to fit your cake design.

This this Strawberry Shortcake was paired with fondant strawberries, flowers, and a woven berry basket to complete the look. 🍓🌼

A fully edible grill cake, complete with steaks on the grill and all the little details.
Because apparently regular cakes aren’t enough around here anymore, but I love a good challenge 😅

When the client sends you one art piece and says, “You have creative liberty.” 🤎🥀

Inspired by the artwork she chose, I created the rest from there. Vintage piping, antique gold details, climbing greenery, and deep red roses for a romantic, old-world feel.

She gave me the inspiration and trusted me with the vision. My favorite kind of order. ❤️

Meet your favorite RGV baker 🤍🎂

Hi! I’m Evelyn, the baker and cake artist behind Belén Cakes and More. I am a self-taught baker of more than 15 years.

I’ve always been an artist at heart; drawing, painting, crocheting and creating with my hands. I eventually found my favorite canvas: CAKE. 🎨🎂

I’m also a wife, mom, and nurse who traded her scrubs for a chef jacket. Now I get to combine a little bit of everything I love; art, creativity, precision, and baking into every cake that leaves my kitchen.

A little fun fact behind the name: Belén is Spanish for Bethlehem, the city where Jesus was born, and Bethlehem is understood to mean “House of Bread.” 🤍 A name that feels especially fitting for a business built around faith, creativity and baking from scratch.

So grateful to everyone who trusts me with a little piece of your special moments.
