This is the kind of safari that doesn’t insist on costing a fortune. At Slow Selous, the wild is quite literally on your doorstep. For the adventurers who come prepared — bring your own tent and gear and settle into our campsite beneath the trees. You’ll have access to campsite bathrooms and all the shared comforts: the bar, campfire, pool, and that rather wonderful riverfront view.

If cooking feels overly ambitious after a day in the bush, you can always join us for meals instead. And if self-driving sounds a touch too energetic, you can book game drives with us too. The season opens 24 May.
