We are proud and excited to be part of this journey! Thank you, Mastercard Foundation for the opportunity. We look forward to creating opportunities for young people to earn, learn and build brighter futures together.

A new chapter begins.

The Mastercard Foundation Fund for Resilience and Prosperity is proud to announce its first cohort of 10 participants across 7 countries, selected for their potential to create dignified and fulfilling work opportunities for young people with limited financial means.

From banana and coffee value chains to apiculture, palm oil and botanicals, these participants are opening pathways for young people to earn, learn and build brighter futures.

We look forward to sharing the impact stories that emerge as young women and men, including young people with disabilities and refugee youth, are empowered through this journey.

What happens after a farmer delivers coffee?

Mgeta Livelihood Development Foundation coffee farmers got a firsthand answer during their recent visit to Mambo Coffee's Morogoro factory.

From receiving and grading, processing, storage and traceability, quality control, cupping and roasting to packaging for export, farmers followed the different stages their coffee goes through before reaching international markets.

At Mambo Coffee, we believe that sharing knowledge and creating stronger connections between farmers and the market is essential.

This International Youth Day, we celebrate young people who are choosing to participate in agriculture and contribute to the transformation of Tanzania’s coffee sector.

May more young people see coffee not only as a crop, but as an opportunity to build livelihoods, businesses and a better future.

Happy International Youth Day!
