Job Description: General Manager for Blu CafΓ©, Blu BBQ and Club Blu
Position Title: General Manager
Reports To: Chief Financial Officer and Director
General Manager Duties & Responsibilities:
ο This position will include overseeing all business included in BLU. (Blu CafΓ©, Blu BBQ and Club Blue)
ο Training and supervising all staff.
ο Prepare and maintain budgets for each area.
ο Maintain clear and organized records to ensure all reports and invoices are filed and stored properly.
ο Oversee daily food and drink stocktaking with reports given.
ο Responsible to verify all goods arrived as per the agreed purchase, delivery note and agreed quantity has been received.
ο Daily food and drink sales report every morning given to CFO and director.
ο Handling all customer complaints/suggest and issues.
ο Balance daily sales and expenses
ο Ensure cleanliness of all areas clean & tidy and in strict compliance with hygiene regulations.
ο Oversee and maintain minimum balances in stores for food and drink working closely with storekeeper and chef.
ο Follow and enforce all health codes.
ο Follow all reporting policies.
ο Develop and update all operational manuals/policies and protocols.
ο Post all invoices to finance.
ο Speak with others using clear and professional language.
ο Follow the Health and Safety procedures particularly relating to food and beverage items.
ο Conduct inventory audits to determine inventory levels and needs.
ο Assist the finance in finding out any cost discrepancies.
ο Approve requisition forms for inventory and supplies or vender.
ο Oversee all requisitions on a daily basis and update the inventory management software/system.
ο Work closely with Purchasing to order and receive items and equipment.
ο Troubleshoot any vendor delivery issues and oversee/follow up on the return process.
ο Oversee and verify and track received inventory and complete inventory reports and send to finance officer and director.
ο Perform any other duties as assigned by the management or supervisors.
ο Oversee work schedules and days off keeping accurate records.
ο Keep track of staff hours worked.
Prerequisites and attributes:
ο Positive attitude and good communication skills.
ο Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
ο Ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
ο Familiar with Inventory Management Software.
ο Must have computer skills for the day to day operation.
ο Competent in XCEL
Education:
Relevant diploma or certificate in Management, Business Administration
Previous restaurant management of at least two years in a similar position.
