A few weeks have passed since the 2025 SPAW Clinic, and we’re still reflecting on what an exceptional event it was. The impact of the work done there will continue to benefit the community for years to come. Today, we want to express our deep appreciation to the people of Vava’u, whose generosity and support made the week truly outstanding.
Thank you to:
• The Neiafu Police for managing the crate loaner program
• Mounu Island Resort for hosting a beautiful day on the island—including transport, a snorkeling excursion, and a wonderful meal
• Bubbles Laundry for washing clinic linens (many loads each day!) and the team’s scrubs
• The Kraken, Harborview Restaurant, Mango Cafe, Bellavista Café, Coffee & Tees, and The Tongan Beach Resort for providing clinic lunches, Host-a-Vet T-shirts, and generous discounts on meals and lodging for the SPAW team
• The many people of Vava’u who brought food and drinks to the clinic. The variety of treats kept us energized through long days. It was such a busy time that we couldn’t keep track of every contributor, but please know your kindness did not go unnoticed—we appreciate you immensely!
