WE’RE HIRING!
A group of restaurants on Koh Phangan is looking for a Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Supervisor.
This position is not only about fixing things by hand. We need someone who can analyze technical problems, find the right solution, plan the work, perform more complicated repairs, and manage another maintenance employee.
Requirements:
• Thai or Myanmar nationality
• Srong experience in maintenance, repair, construction, technical work, or a similar field
• Able to work independently and make practical decisions
• Responsible and well-organized
• Basic English communication skills
Able to travel between our locations on Koh Phangan
Responsibilities:
• Analyze maintenance problems, identify the root cause, and propose practical solutions
• Plan repairs, including required materials, tools, time, and approximate cost
• Perform more complicated technical work, including electrical, plumbing, equipment, furniture, doors, shelves, locks, and general repairs
• Assign simpler tasks to another maintenance employee and supervise their work
• Check the quality of completed work and make sure problems are properly resolved
• Prioritize urgent repairs and help prevent recurring problems
• Monitor the condition of equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, furniture, and facilities
• Keep tools, spare parts, and maintenance materials organized
• Purchase or request materials needed for repairs
• Coordinate outside technicians or contractors when required
Locations:
• Sunway Cafe
• Dots Coffee
• Carrot Cafe
• Other company locations on Koh Phangan when required
Payment:
Payment: approximately ฿30,000–฿35,000 per month (in case of full time), depending on workload
Work schedule:
• Full-time or Part-time
• Approximately 6–8 hours per day
• 5–6 days/week
• Schedule may depend on maintenance needs and urgent repairs
