We’ve been getting a lot of questions about fufu lately, and we hear you.

Fufu takes many forms, depending on the ingredients and preparation. At Utu, ours is made fresh with either cassava or a combination of cassava and plantain. When available, you can order it as a side with one of the stews on our menu.

Because we make it fresh, fufu is not available every day. WhatsApp us or send us a DM before your visit, and our team will let you know whether we’re able to prepare it in time for your booking. 🤎

For SG61, we’re partnering with Message in a Bottle, curators of Cape Alchemy, to bring you some of the finest South African Pinotage through our SG61 prize draw.

Founded by Mark and Annette, Message in a Bottle reconnects Mark with South Africa, his birthplace. For Annette, it is a way to bring wines from their partner producers to Singapore.

How to participate:
• Dine at Kafe Utu from 4–31 August 2026 and complete an entry form before you leave.
• Each valid dine-in receipt earns one entry. No minimum spend is required. Each additional valid receipt earns another entry.
