We’re turning ONE!!! 🎂 We’re not sure exactly how it’s been a year, but it has, and we would love nothing more than to celebrate with you!

From 12 August, we’ll be rolling out our new food menu, so come on down from the start of the b’day week to get a first taste of our new creations from the kitchen.

🍸 14 August: We’re inviting some friends of ours for an anniversary guest shift (including .asia and ), to kick off our birthday weekend in the best way possible: with plenty of drinks made by our nearest and dearest 🥰

🤰🏻 15 August: Chef Noom’s a feeder, and she’s gonna do exactly that with a little NOOMAKASE.🍴A menu carefully curated with new menu specials and off-menu favourites exclusively available for one day only, you don’t want to miss this if you’re down for a proper Burmese feast. 88++ per pax for memorable flavors and priceless mems xo

🕺🏻 16 August: We wrap up our birthday week with a little boogie with our friends from ! RTJ () and SmellsLike () will be on the decks to the soundtrack the evening, while Noveen – Santai’s head bar capitan – will be slinging those signatures 🍹 to keep the energy going. Two days, 400+ Kyay-Ohs, 300+ Kyay-Oh lovers in our little 39-seater resto 🙂‍↕️ A massive thank you to our YKKO friends for coming down to Duxton to do their magic!

has always been a name that most Yangon kids grew up with, so the past two days were nothing short of special. Thank you all so much for your tremendous support, it’s always great to see our community turning up to experience a little taste of home together ❤️ We wish we could have hosted everyone that wanted a bowl, and our apologies to those that we could not get back to — we know now that the Kyay-Oh joy is reeeeal and we can’t wait to welcome you back for more next time!

FROM YANKIN TO DUXTON 🗣️🗣️🗣️

We can haaardly wait to welcome YKKO, Myanmar’s iconic Kyay-Oh noodle chain, to pop up at ours for two days only on 25 & 26 June!

🍜 The Kyay-Oh is a traditional Burmese noodle dish, typically consisting of vermicelli served in a flavorful broth with various toppings. Those who know, will know, that Yangon’s is a household name for it, serving up their timeless recipe since 1988.

Not familiar with the Kyay-Oh? No better time and place to get acquainted than with YKKO taking the helm of our Duxton kitchen – trust the OGs to do it right. 🎤

Things to note:
▪️ Only on 25 & 26 June (Wed & Thur)
▪️ Exclusively open from 11:30am on both days, YKKO menu items available all day until sold out
▪️ Only a condensed version of our a la carte menu will be available
▪️ Rezzies highly recommended with the link in bio; please take note of your dining times as we’re expecting lots of Kyay-Oh lovers!

If you ever need a lil’ something to brighten up the dinner table, the Grilled King Oyster Mushroom with our roasted golden pumpkin does the job just nicely. 🧡 A little sweet, a little savoury, it’s a velvety pumpkin curry base with a tender pair of grilled oyster mushrooms on top, making for a dish best enjoyed with some steamed jasmine rice.

Only Uncle William’s fresh catch for our Ngar Kin 🙂‍↕️🎣 Our grilled whole red snapper is stuffed with an herby mix of lemongrass and green chilli, a favorite for the table and a punchy centrepiece.

But hey — we get it fresh from the market, so portions are limited each night. Especially keen on the fish? Just let us know at least 24 hours in advance of your booking and we’ll set one aside for you!

Don’t let the name fool you – our ‘Fish & Chips’ isn’t the usual British fare. 🐟💥

Pounded barramundi is cooked with lemongrass, lots of garlic, and chilli, resulting in delicious flaky bits that satiate all savoury cravings. Enter our homemade fish crackers – or ‘chips’ — that make for a crunchy delight, an excellent vehicle for the curried barramundi.

Truly a snack we can get behind especially when it pairs perfectly with a G&T – don’t miss the next time you visit!
