Have you got frustrated in a restaurant waiting for a server to take your order ?

A: Yes, heavily frustrated many times waiting and looking for servers to come and take order. I learnt from my friend regarding RestKit App which is a solution to this problem. We should be letting restaurants that we visit know about this Restkit app and to use it to solve this problem . Restkit app can be freely downloaded and it can be setup instantly in 15 minutes where restaurant need to input their menu and sync with all table ipads from where customers can order straight away as soon as they visit without waiting. Restkit App follows pay as you use model which means Restaurants need to purchase order capacity count using in app purchases within the app and order capacity count reduces by 1 for each order placed from ipad that is having Restkit App in customer mode. Once order capacity count is finished, you need to recharge/topup again. It doesn’t cost much as it is a very nominal cost per order and follows pay as you use

How it works:

Put an iPad on each table with RestKit App in Customer Mode

Have one Owner iPad at the counter/kitchen with Restkit App in Owner Mode

All devices & AirPrint kitchen printer on the same Wi-Fi. Printer that need to be used is a 3 inch receipt printer enabled with Apple Airprint Technology like "Brother RJ-3150"

Customers order → Owner iPad gets it instantly → prints in kitchen → email copy of the order sent as well

✅ Reduces wait time by 30–50%
✅ Cuts order mistakes (customer selects directly)

RestKit App - This app is designed to automate the ordering process in the restaurant.The app is ready to use and the restaurants have to just key in their menu.The app is designed to operate in two modes i.e.master mode and user mode.
MASTER MODE
Only one iPad needs to be configured in master mode.In this iPad you need to enter your menu along with description and images.This is the iPad which receives orders from all the tables.
USER MODE
There should one iPad placed per each table which should be configured in user mode. The user mode iPad will be able to sync the menu entered in the master mode iPad. You can also configure the table No in this mode for an iPad. Then you can place orders from this table. You can purchase to place more orders from this iPad.
Things Required for setup:
1.Devices - iPad Air
2.Wireless Receipt printers(AirPrint Technology).You can get Brother RJ3150 printer.
3.Wifi connection to connect all devices and printers
