My answer to the stupid breadwinners who are dreaming of death that what happened in Syria will happen in Ethiopia

🇸🇾 Syria is the oldest country with a high ancient civilization. However, the regime of Bashar al-Assad was ousted after 14 years of civil war due to a serious internal threat led by a hereditary and undemocratic regime.
🇸🇾 We are seeing people who are dreaming that the same thing that happened in Syria will happen in Ethiopia. My answer is briefly as follows
1. 🇸🇾 Syria is not a democratic State, but a family monarchy. It is a country where the people have no chance to elect a government. Therefore, the al-Assad family has ruled the country under a dictatorship for more than half a century.
🇪🇹 Ethiopia is a country that is building a democracy and has an electoral system where the people have the full constitutional and legal right to elect their government. It has been more than half a century since the fall of the father-to-son monarchy in Ethiopia.
The current government is a popularly elected government.
2. 🇸🇾 The government of bashir al assad is a minority government.
Syria is a country where the population is 74% Sunni Muslim, 13% Shia Muslim, 10% Christian and 3% Druze. Majority rule and minority right is reversed by the regime of crown prince Bashir al assad from only 13% of the Shia faction, which is the Alawite sect, one of the three tribal Shiite sects in Syria. Therefore, 74% of Sunni Muslims have been oppressed by this minority. Therefore, as a democracy, the big group should have ruled and protected the rights of the small group. In Syria, the opposite was happening.
Therefore, there was a Sunni population in Syria that was completely opposed to and fighting against the regime of Bashir al-Assad. Bashir al-Assad ruled oppressively by denying elections because if he allowed elections, Sunni Muslims would win 74%. So it means that it was 3/4 of the entire Syrian population that was opposing Bashir.
🇪🇹Ethiopia is a country where more than 86 ethnic groups and all religions live in mutual respect, there is a secular government. As a democracy, a large faction and a party with more than 15 million members wins elections and rules. Therefore, for the past 6 years, the principles of majority rule and minority right democracy have been properly implemented in Ethiopia. The people are exercising their full right to form their government by elections. Even if there is a group in Ethiopia that believes it has a special demand, there is an opportunity for elections and therefore it has no reason to go to war. Since it is possible to be elected by approaching the people with ideas, there is no basis for war because there is no basis for war. Elections are a constitutional guarantee because there is a government that has gained
3.🇸🇾 Syria is a one-family crown government and even the executives in the regime are fundamentally opposed to the family government and do not work for the regime from the heart saying it is my regime, so they are internally destroyed.
🇪🇹Ethiopia is a self-governing system where all regions are self-governing and all ethnic groups are properly represented in the federal government. Our innermost being is not destructive. There is no region that opposes self-government and he wholeheartedly protects the system as his system. The existing government is not a family government but a collective government.
4.🇸🇾 Syria has dark hopes of regime change, the people had no chance to see hope of change but war(just war). The crown government we overthrew 50 years ago, Syria has just overthrown the crown government today.
🇪🇹Ethiopia is a country that overthrew the crown 50 years ago, tasted dictatorship, practiced revolutionary democratic change, and finally made changes with the participation of the masses. Reforms are being implemented that have the support of the broad masses.
5. 🇸🇾 in syria the major world powers were DIRECTLY involved in the Syrian war. Syria has been the battlefield of the world's major powers.
🇪🇹Even though foreign countries are using internal agents to disrupt us in Ethiopia, the major world governments are directly on our land and making us a battlefield and fighting each other and we are not fighting.
6. 🇸🇾 The Syrian regime of Bashir Al assad has closed the door to peace talks during its 21 years in power and 14 years of civil war.
🇪🇹 The Ethiopian government has kept the door to peace open since it took power in Boronta. He defeated the Tigray forces but settled the matter peacefully. Riphe has also opened its doors to the troops operating in Amhara and Oromia regions for dialogue and peace and is calling for reconciliation. Today, the door to dialogue and peace is still open.
Therefore, although many points can be made, I believe that the above points are enough for those who are starting to eat dream bread for the time being.
Our practical situation, the basis of the system of governance of the two countries and the social basis of the two governments are opposite to each other.
Ethiopia is a country that has gone beyond itself and become the guarantor of Africans.
