INTERNATIONAL BAMBOO DAY 2026 | Plant Bamboo, Breathe Life
In celebration of International Bamboo Day, the Rotary Club of Santa Maria, Bulacan, together with the Inner Wheel Club of Santa Maria District 377, joined hands for the 1,000 Bamboo Seedling Nurturing Activity on September 18, 2026.
The Chinese Giant Bamboo (Dendrocalamus giganteus) seedlings were initially planted and nurtured at Christ the King Mission Seminary to give them the proper care and time needed to establish healthy growth. Once the seedlings are strong and ready, they will be transferred to their intended planting area in Tanay, Rizal.
This project was undertaken in partnership with the Ministry for the Care of Creation – SVD Central Province and Christ the King Mission Seminary, reflecting a shared commitment to environmental stewardship and long-term sustainability.
This is only the beginning. By nurturing these seedlings today, we are preparing them to take root, grow, and create a lasting environmental impact for generations to come.
More Oxygen. Healthier Communities. Sustainable Tomorrow.
Together, we Create Lasting Impact.
