We are looking for an honest and hardworking Store Assistant / Cashier to join our team.

Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and multi-skilled Store Assistant / Cashier. Your primary assignment will be the Convenience Store, ensuring the shop is well-stocked and customers are served efficiently. You will also be expected to assist at our Refreshment Kiosk during busy periods or whenever additional help is needed.

Key Responsibilities

Convenience Store Operations:
Act as the main cashier and provide excellent customer service.
Organize shelves, monitor "Best Before" dates, and ensure the store is clean.
Inventory & Delivery Management:
Receive & Inspect Deliveries: Assist in unloading deliveries and carefully check "new arrival" products.
Quality Control: Ensure all items received are in good condition (no dents, leaks, or damage) and match the quantity listed on the delivery receipt/invoice.
Stock Entry: Assist in updating the inventory once new stocks are verified.
Inventory Entry: Help update stock levels in the StoreHub system.
Refreshment Kiosk & Food Safety:
Support the kiosk team during peak hours, focusing on fast transactions and order fulfillment.
Food Safety Knowledge: Apply basic food hygiene—proper handwashing, and using "First In, First Out" (FIFO) for ingredients.
Sanitation: Regularly clean food preparation surfaces and equipment to prevent contamination.
Reporting & Remittance:
Perform “Shift in” and "Shift Out" on StoreHub and ensure the cash "remit" is balanced.


Qualifications

Experience: Previous experience in a retail store, mini-mart, or food kiosk is preferred.
StoreHub Knowledge: Knowledgeable in StoreHub POS is a plus.
Food Safety: Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene (proper food handling and cleanliness).
Technical Skill: Fast and comfortable using an iPad or Tablet.
Character: Honest, hardworking, and has a "pleasing personality."

Join the Culinary Team at Shay’s Shack in Navitas, Numancia, Aklan.
Shay’s Shack is expanding. We are looking for an experienced Preparation Chef to join our beachside team. This is a fast-paced role for someone with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
The Preparation Chef supports the senior kitchen staff. You will keep the kitchen clean, tidy, and hygienic. The main duty is preparing and cooking Filipino food. This includes all Silog meals, soups, and Pandesal items. You will also handle basic food prep, washing dishes, and stock control. We need a reliable person who can help the kitchen run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare food as instructed by senior chefs.
* Cook Filipino menu items, including garlic fried rice, eggs, and proteins like Tapa and Longganisa.
* Prepare traditional soups such as Bulalo, Batchoy, and Papaitan.
* Roll and fry Vegetable Rolls and Lumpiang Shanghai.
* Clean and sanitise all kitchen surfaces and storage areas.
* Follow health and safety rules and maintain stock using the First In, First Out method.
What We Are Looking For
* Basic knowledge of the food service industry.
* Ability to work flexible shifts and stand for long periods.
* A high level of responsibility and a willingness to learn.
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene rules.
* Experience cooking Filipino dishes is preferred but not essential.
