Simbang gabi or dawn masses is a distinctive Filipino tradition of holding Catholic masses for 9 consecutive days leading to Christmas. Many Catholics believe that your special intention/wish will be granted if you were able to complete the nine-day devotion. Masses start as early as 4AM, individuals and families even with very small kids flock to the church and right after the mass, the entire simbang gabi experience is wrapped up with p**o bumbong and bibingka. ❤️
