There are goodbyes that happen quietly, but still break your heart.
Today, I am officially ending my partnership with Cafe Noy; . This decision came from the owner, Cris Casuyon Galor, and while I respect it, I’d be lying if I said it doesn’t hurt.
Cafe Noy became more than just a place for me. It became my safe place — a space filled with memories, people, laughter, struggles, and moments that carried me through some of the hardest seasons of my life. That’s why this goodbye feels heavier than expected.
But in this painful season, I also realized something important: we should never have to compromise our morals, values, and mental health just to stay in a place where we no longer feel appreciated.
Some endings are painful not because we failed, but because we loved deeply and gave sincerely.
Sorry, Nanay. I know you will also understand. I know you would remind me that peace, dignity, and self-worth should never be sacrificed just to stay where my heart is no longer valued.
Thank you, Cafe Noy, for being part of my story. I will always carry the good memories with gratitude and move forward with faith, peace, and hope for what’s ahead. 🤍
