Some things we bring home from Australia aren’t things you can put in a suitcase.

During my years there, while studying and learning about coffee and café culture, I experienced the spirit of R U OK? Day. It’s a simple reminder to check in, start a conversation, and genuinely ask someone, “Are you okay?”

It stayed with me.

And perhaps that’s one of the beautiful things about a café. Beyond the coffee and food, it can be a place where people meet, slow down, catch up, share what’s on their mind, or simply sit with someone.

So today, we’re bringing a little piece of that Australian café culture to VC.

Ask someone.
Listen.
Stay a little longer.

Fun fact: this is officially the farthest destination we’ve ever traveled to for an event! We’re truly grateful and flattered that even with the distance, you still chose us to be part of your beautiful celebration.

What makes it even more special is that Sir Blaire and Ma’am Alexis are actually our café customers. They’ve simply enjoyed our coffee, food, and service as guests at VC, and somehow, they trusted us enough to bring that same experience to their wedding.

We’re so happy and honoured to have served you in this beautiful place in Barili. Thank you for trusting VC and allowing us to be part of such a memorable day. Congratulations, Sir Blaire and Ma’am Alexis! 🙏
