Eleven weeks to Christmas, and if you're putting extra crew on for summer the gear needs sorting before they turn up.

Hi vis tees, shorts, bucket hats, polos, safety glasses. We've got 387 hi vis options and 152 in headwear, so finding it isn't the problem.

Sizing is. Order a mixed run now and you get the sizes you asked for. Leave it to late November and you take whatever's left on the shelf, which is usually two mediums and a 5XL.

Send us your numbers and your size split and we'll quote it with your logo on.

Week two of the October plan, so this is quote week.

Last week was deciding what you're doing and putting a number on it. This week, get the logo files over with a rough quantity and we'll come back with a shortlist and real lead times, usually inside two days.

Mid October you sign off the artwork. Late October the order goes in while suppliers still have room. That's the whole job.

Eleven weeks to Christmas and we're on step two of four. Still well ahead of the queue.

The washroom cupboard is the one nobody checks until it's empty.

Toilet paper, hand towel, soap, bin liners, cleaning chemicals, gloves. Half of it goes over the break and the rest goes the first week back when everyone's in at once.

Count it this week and order once. Beats paying courier charges on four separate little top-ups in January.

October starts today, and this is the month to get your Christmas order sorted.

The four weeks go like this.

This week, decide whether you're doing client gifts, staff gear, or both, and put a number on it.
Next week, get your logo files over to us. We quote and shortlist.
Mid October, sign off the artwork proof.
Late October, order goes in while suppliers still have room to take it.

Do it in that order and November is just waiting on a courier. Leave it and you're picking from whatever's left in the catalogue.

If you ship anything, December is your biggest month out the door. It's also the month half your suppliers shut for three weeks.

So have a look at what you've actually got on the shelf. Tape, stretch film, protective packaging, shipping labels, strapping. Running out of tape on the 18th of December is a real problem and it is completely avoidable.

Count it now, order once, and it's off your list until February. We carry 54 tape options alone, so tell us what you're currently using and we'll match it.

Nine times out of ten what slows a branded order down is the artwork sitting in somebody's inbox. Not the printing.

Four things to send us and it moves straight away.

1. Your logo as a vector file. EPS, AI, PDF or SVG. A screenshot off your website won't print.
2. A one colour version. Embroidery and single colour print both need it.
3. Your brand colours. Pantone if you've got them, hex if you haven't.
4. Roughly how many, and what you want to spend. Per person is fine, we work backwards from there.

Send those four and we can have a quote and a shortlist back to you in a day or two. Twelve weeks out, so there's still room to get it right rather than rushing it.

Most people pick one thing and put a logo on it. A drink bottle, or a cap. That works fine. For the same money though you can do three smaller things as a pack, and it lands a lot better when someone opens it.

Something to drink from. Something to carry it in. Something they'll actually use. We've got 292 drinkware options, 351 bags and totes, plus tech, tools and caps to finish it off.

We don't sell a fixed hamper, we build the pack around what you want to spend. Tell us your spend per head and how many people, and we'll come back with a couple of combinations.

Hats, eye protection, hi vis that isn't boiling to wear, gloves, ear protection, first aid refills. All the stuff that runs out in January when half the country is on the beach and nobody is answering the phone.

Order it now and it's sitting on your shelf before the season starts, instead of on back order in the middle of it.
