SCHOOL HOLIDAYS SORTED ☀️
The school holidays are nearly here, so we’ve rounded up 10 great things to do around the Bay of Islands & Northland, with a few of our local favourites along the way.
From getting out on the water and exploring local history, to wood-fired pizza, markets, real-fruit ice creams, beach days and plenty more, there’s no shortage of ways to spend a day in our part of the country.

Take the family camping at one of Northland’s most beautiful beaches.

Hop aboard for a heritage train ride and a different way to explore Kawakawa.

Make a day of it and head to the very top. Take in the incredible views at Cape Reinga, then stop for a sand-boarding adventure at Te P**i.
