Well thats a wrap!

I started The Lunch Lady almost a year ago, at the beginning of winter and in the middle of a recession. What was I thinking!!!

We've done it all, Events, Long weekends, Public holidays, Monday to Friday, even 7 days a week! Rain, hail or shine, I was in it!

I have loved every minute of it, well maybe not the 4am wakeup!, and I have made some wonderful friends.

You have let me into your life and your family when you share your adventures of your weeks and weekends, and we have had many laughs and sometimes few tears and hugs.

You all have been amazing customers and I appreciate every visit you have made, but as one door closes, another opens and its time for my yellow door to close. Friday will be my last day at the skate park. Saturday will be my last event at the TK Locals Market

I would love to catch up with you all for one last Coffee or Bap, or both.

Well thats the weekend done and dusted. I have definitely enjoyed having the last couple off and just spending time in the garden and catching up with some house chores, Yes Im weird, I know!

Tomorrow the civil works behind my Skate Park location will be in progress, please be extra careful of moving vehicles🛻 and machinery.🚜

And tomorrow I will be doing my Regular Coffee and Regular Bap combo for $10..First in first served

Starting tomorrow for approximately a month, there will be civil works in the skate park behind where I park my coffee trailer during the week.

These contractors have indicated that they are happy for me to stay in my current location, something about keeping them caffeinated and fed 😉☕️🥧

However as a result there will be extra vehicles🛻 and machinery 🚜 near my trailer and I would like you all to take extra care when coming to visit. I may also be harder to see from the main Road but rest assured, I will still doing my same hours in the same location. 🕕-🕛

So, see you in the morning, bright and early for coffee and maybe a Bap or Pie

New Pie filling........

Smoked Fish, yeap a lot of you have been asking and I have finally made it.

We had a test run this morning and it was hot to trot......right out of the cabinet, they were all gone within an hour of opening.

More tomorrow so get in early

And just to be clear, all my pies are home made - I roll the pastry and make the fillings, baked fresh every morning, (not bought in and reheated), and nothing from the pie cabinet sees a second day, if it doesn't get consumed on the day of making it gets thrown out.

Sorry team, Ive had a massive weekend and literally sold all my stock, Ive even run out of coffee cups!! Great for me, not so great for anyone wanting a coffee or Bap on Monday.

I need the day to shop, bake, restock and prep for the rest of the week. A nap might be in order too 😴.
