Zucchini marinated in lemon & fish sauce, with hummus and couscous to fill me up.

So we spent a few nights in Auckland, soaking up the energy and buzz of the city after dark. Now we’re heading home full of inspiration, ready to bring some of that vibe to New Brighton—with our own Mr. Don twist. 🌙🏮

Something exciting started in New Brighton today! 👀✨

Brighton Mall is getting a fresh new look with new paving, lighting, seating and greenery — just as we’re getting ready to bring Mr. Don to the neighbourhood.

New Brighton isn’t only where our new restaurant will be. It’s also the place we call home, so watching this area grow feels extra special to us.

So excited for what’s coming next!

Yesterday ended up being our final day of service.

We originally planned to stay open for a few more days, but thanks to the incredible support from all of you, our promotion completely sold out and we officially ran out of stock.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better way to close this chapter.

Thank you for every order, every review, every recommendation, and every bit of support you’ve given us throughout the years.

Now it’s time for us to focus 100% on our next project and bring our new dine-in restaurant to life as quickly as possible.

This isn’t goodbye — it’s simply the beginning of a new chapter.

We’ll continue sharing updates along the way, and we can’t wait to welcome you into our new home in New Brighton soon.
