A little story of how I started Pind Punjabi…
I started in 2009 with my first Indian restaurant, Shah Jahan, located in Jordaan, Amsterdam.
Later, in 2014, I opened Pind Punjabi. At that time, Shah Jahan became very busy and I felt it was time for a bigger space, which led me to open another restaurant here in De Pijp, Amsterdam.
Pind Punjabi has now been running for almost 12 years.
The renovation took around 6 weeks, we had to move quite quickly. The restaurant really needed a refresh as everything had become old, so we felt it was the right time to renovate.
A special thank you to Feline from for the beautiful interior design. I’m really happy with the end result and her professionalism.
What makes Pind Punjabi special is our food. We focus on home style traditional flavours and authentic recipes.
Some of our most popular dishes are Butter Chicken, Lamb Rogan Josh, and Biryani.
My personal favourite is Rogan Josh. I always eat Rogan Josh.
