Do bigger birds always make better profits? Not necessarily. 🐔💰

A bigger bird can look impressive, but size alone doesn't determine profitability.

What matters is how much it costs you to get that bird to that weight.

If a bird consumes significantly more feed, takes longer to reach market weight, or requires more medication and space, the extra size may not translate into extra profit.

Farmers should look beyond weight and consider:

• Growth rate
• Feed conversion
• Mortality
• Market price
• Cost of housing and management
