So when I was getting married my mum bought these trays and a couple of other things, typical of a northern marriage. And the following conversation followed.

Me: gaskiya mummy banso trays da kwanonin mutanen da, auren zamani zanyi, I will have a modern home, so i don't need all theses trays and big bowls.

Mummy: dole zaki da su, cos I don't want you to stress me when you eventually need them.

I sha grudgingly took them along and today after some years am grateful I took them along cos each time I need them I joyfully stroll to my store and get them.

So tell us what is that thing you got some years ago that you didn't see a need for it but you are now grateful that you did get it?
