Aside from running Pen Kitchen and Sips, I work with a brand that is incredibly intentional about hygiene. Imagine a workspace where nose masks, gloves, stockings, aprons, and chef caps are non-negotiable before a single customer is served.
I grew to love that discipline. It made me realize that how we handle what people consume is a form of respect.
Then, I decided to go out as a customer myself. I watched a vendor gisting over my food, letting droplets fall, and even scooping spilled food back into the pack from her skirt! I was livid. I had to speak up, and while she wasn't happy, it clicked for me: We cannot give what we do not practice.
Where am I heading? I want us to be intentional about everything. How we love, how we care, how we eat, and how we speak.
This week’s assignment: Practice intentionality in one area you usually overlook. Pay attention to the small things.
Happy New Week! 🤍
Hope to get good reports
