The mysterious woman has finally revealed the secret she carried for years.
But now another document has appeared—and it could expose what happened between Ugochinyere's father and Chief Okonkwo's family.

EPISODE 18 — THE WOMAN WHO KNEW

The village square remained silent after the revelation about the mysterious woman.
Ugochinyere could not take her eyes off her.
The woman slowly stepped forward.
Elderly Woman:
“Your father made me promise never to speak until the truth was ready to be heard.”
Ugochinyere's voice trembled.
Ugochinyere:
“What did my father tell you?”
The woman looked at Chief Okonkwo.
Elderly Woman:
“He told me that the land was never meant to belong to Chief Okonkwo's family.”
The villagers erupted in whispers.
Chief Okonkwo stepped forward.
Chief Okonkwo:
“You are lying!”
The woman remained calm.
Elderly Woman:
“Then why are you afraid of the document?”
Chief Okonkwo fell silent.
The Head Elder raised his hand, demanding silence.
Head Elder:
“Let her finish.”
The woman reached inside a small cloth bag and brought out an old wooden box.
Ugochinyere stared at it.
Ugochinyere:
“Where did you get that?”
The woman looked at her.
Elderly Woman:
“Your father gave it to me on the night before he died.”
Ugochinyere's eyes filled with emotion.
Her husband stepped closer to her.
The woman placed the box on the table beside the old document.
Elderly Woman:
“He said that when the right day came, you would need this.”
The Head Elder carefully opened the box.
Inside was an old photograph-like keepsake, a small carved symbol, and another folded piece of paper.
Everyone stared.
Chief Okonkwo suddenly stepped backward.
Eze Nwafor:
“That symbol... I have seen it before.”
The Head Elder unfolded the paper.
His expression changed.
Head Elder:
“This is a second agreement.”
Ugochinyere looked at Chief Okonkwo.
Ugochinyere:
“So all these years... you knew?”
Chief Okonkwo remained silent.
Then, unexpectedly, he lowered his head.
Chief Okonkwo:
“I knew my father had hidden something.”
The crowd became completely silent.
Chief Okonkwo:
“But I never knew the whole truth.”
The elderly woman looked at him.
Elderly Woman:
“Then perhaps it is time you finally hear what your father did.”

CHAPTER 17 — THE NAME IN THE DOCUMENT
The village square was completely silent.
The old document lay open in the hands of the Head Elder.
Everyone waited for the truth.
Chief Okonkwo stood stiffly, trying to hide his fear.
Ugochinyere stepped closer.
Ugochinyere:
“Elder, please... tell us whose name is written there.”
The Head Elder looked carefully at the faded writing.
Then he raised his eyes.
Head Elder:
“The name written here is... Nnamdi Okoro.”
A shocked murmur swept through the crowd.
Chief Okonkwo staggered backward.
Chief Okonkwo:
“No... that is impossible.”
Eze Nwafor immediately stepped forward.
Eze Nwafor:
“I remember that name.”
Everyone turned toward him.
Eze Nwafor:
“Nnamdi Okoro was the man who helped your father settle the original boundary dispute.”
Ugochinyere looked confused.
Ugochinyere:
“Then why was his name hidden?”
The elder examined the document again.
His expression became even more serious.
Head Elder:
“Because this is not simply a land agreement.”
Chief Okonkwo suddenly tried to leave.
Ugochinyere's husband stepped in front of him.
Husband:
“Where are you going?”
Chief Okonkwo stopped.
For the first time, he looked completely defeated.
Then he whispered:
Chief Okonkwo:
“There is something you don't know about my father.”
The villagers became silent again.
The Head Elder stepped forward.
Head Elder:
“Then speak.”
Chief Okonkwo looked at the old document.
Chief Okonkwo:
“My father did not own that land.”
Everyone gasped.
Ugochinyere stared at him.
Ugochinyere:
“Then who did?”
Chief Okonkwo lowered his head.
Before he could answer, Eze Nwafor suddenly spoke.
Eze Nwafor:
“I know who.”
He pointed toward an elderly woman standing quietly at the edge of the crowd.
Everyone turned.
The woman slowly stepped forward.
Eze Nwafor:
“She is the last person who knows what happened that day.”
Ugochinyere stared at the woman.
The woman looked directly at her.
Elderly Woman:
“Your father trusted me with the final secret.”

EPISODE 16 — THE HIDDEN DOCUMENT
The morning sun rose over Umudim, but nobody was thinking about the beauty of the new day.
Everyone was thinking about the abandoned hut.
The elders, Ugochinyere, her husband, Mama Ezinne, Chief Okonkwo, his workers, and many villagers gathered outside the old hut.
The Head Elder raised his staff.
"Today, we search for the document that may settle this dispute once and for all."
Ugochinyere held her children's hands.
Her husband stood beside her.
Chief Okonkwo remained unusually quiet.
The elders entered the hut.
Dust filled the air as they searched through old baskets, broken wooden boxes, clay pots, and forgotten farming tools.
Suddenly—
CRACK!
One elder noticed a loose wooden board beneath an old shelf.
He pulled it away.
Behind it was a small clay container wrapped in faded cloth.
Everyone froze.
"What is that?" a villager whispered.
The Head Elder carefully opened the container.
Inside was an old folded document.
Ugochinyere stepped forward, tears forming in her eyes.
"Could that be it?"
Eze Nwafor examined the faded seal.
His expression changed.
"Yes."
Chief Okonkwo suddenly moved forward.
"Give it to me!"
The elders immediately blocked his path.
Head Elder:
"You will not touch it."
Chief Okonkwo stared at them.
For the first time, the villagers saw fear in his eyes.
The Head Elder slowly unfolded the document.
Everyone gathered around.
The writing was faded, but one important section was still readable.
The elder began reading aloud.
"This land shall remain with the family that first cultivated it..."
Ugochinyere covered her mouth.
Her husband looked at her with hope.
But before the elder could finish reading—
Chief Okonkwo shouted:
"STOP!"
Everyone turned toward him.
He looked around the hut.
Then he whispered something that shocked everyone.
"You don't understand what that document will reveal."
Silence.
Ugochinyere stepped forward.
"Then let us hear it."
Chief Okonkwo said nothing.
The Head Elder looked at the document again.
His expression suddenly became serious.
"There is a name written here..."
He paused.
Everyone leaned closer.
"And that name is not your father's."
Chief Okonkwo's face went pale.

"The document had been found... but its greatest secret had only just been uncovered."
