To ensure the 4 decades unique humble stir-fried noodle (The Hailam Char) created by late Mr Ong Khye Jim to remain its delicacy, his successor Mr Michael Ong had boldly stepped out to continue the business given the unexpected hardship & obstacles along its way. Both Mr Ong has similar passion, they love to cook and share what they offered best. Jim's Hailam Char hope to make known this savoury dish to more and more food lovers. The name of Hailam Char was given out of casual chit chat while deciding on what is the best name to the new signature dish. Since Mr Jim was originally a Hainanese, naturally the name was given. The Hailam Char is a plate of yellow noodle in whitish gravy that has a unique sweet taste and comes with prawns, crab sticks, pork, egg, chai sim and Chinese mustard. This special dish is a must to try and be sure that you will be coming back again. Jim's Hailam Char do also offer other variety of delicious noodles like the known local Char Hor Fun, Hokkien Char, and Fried Rice.
