In France, some 3 Michelin restaurants offer "blindfold" dining, ie. you can't order but come and just savour whatever the chef has in mind with the ingredients of the day. This is the teochew equivalent in Malacca. Reservations required. Table dining means you should come in a group of 4-10 people instead of 1 or 2.
