We are thrilled to introduce our first discussant, Esther Manduwa!

At 26, Esther is a Malawian entrepreneur and a third-year Bachelor of Arts in Media for Development student at the University of Malawi. As the Executive Director of Chilengedwe Natural Food Produce, she leads innovative agribusiness initiatives, including beekeeping (since 2019), rice farming, and diverse crop cultivation. Driven by her passion for sustainable agriculture, youth empowerment, and community development, Esther is committed to delivering high-quality, environmentally responsible solutions with a focus on social impact.

Esther’s work perfectly aligns with the theme of the 4th Series of the National Youth Conversations: Unlocking Youth Economic Empowerment and Job Creation Opportunities Towards MW 2063.Her skills in sustainable agriculture and innovative agribusiness highlight the incredible potential of Malawian youth to drive economic growth and create jobs through entrepreneurship. We can’t wait to hear her insights on how young people can leverage their skills and creativity to drive Malawi's economic transformation!

We are delighted to be part of a mentorship program delivered to Kambuwe Youth Club of STA Kambuwe, Mchinji, in partnership with the National Youth Council of Malawi.

Our aim is to empower young entrepreneurs in beekeeping, branding, and honey processing to foster a sustainable and flourishing honey production industry in Malawi.

This collaboration allows us to provide training and mentorship to Kambuwe Youth Club members, helping them develop their skills and build successful honey businesses. Together, we are shaping a promising future for Malawi's youth in agriculture.

Earlier today, we had the opportunity to exhibit our food products at the launch of the Youth Entrepreneurship for Future of Food and Agriculture (YEFFA) Program. This event, organized by AGRA-Sustainably Growing Africa’s Food Systems. in partnership with the National Youth Council of Malawi , took place at the BICC in Lilongwe.

The recently launched program aims to cultivate an environment that promotes entrepreneurship, market access, agricultural productivity, financial inclusion, and youth participation in governance across Africa. We feel honored and enthusiastic to have the opportunity to participate in this program, from which we expect to gain valuable benefits.

The event was honored by the presence of several esteemed keynote speakers, including Malawi's Minister of Agriculture and the Minister of Youth and Sports.
