Due to feeling sick and having fever, we regret to inform you that the restaurant will be closed from today until Sunday.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and are especially sorry to those who have made reservations during this period. Unfortunately, all bookings scheduled between now and Sunday will need to be cancelled.

Jimren is conveniently located just a five-minute walk from the Mosta Rotunda, precisely in the right corner behind City Bar. The name Jimren is a combination of the names Jimmy and Ren, who were the long-standing owners of the property. They eventually decided to sell it to their close friend, Chris, who is currently the chef at San Remo. Chef Chris then chose to transform the establishment from its previous incarnation as a pastizzeria into a gourmet take-away, and he honored Jimmy and Ren by naming it after them.

Chef Chris has been working in the catering industry for the past 15 years and has achieved many awards during his career. He is currently developing a new initiative that incorporates an innovative take-away concept, emphasizing the use of the freshest, locally sourced ingredients..

At Jimren, we are pleased to offer a selection of classic take-away snacks, alongside traditional Maltese dishes, for which Chris is already renowned.
