Following the great response to yesterday’s introduction of the OREA Z1, we thought we’d show you what actually goes down during the brew. ☕️
Every cup starts with freshly ground specialty coffee, carefully weighed to ensure consistency. The filter is rinsed, the brewer is preheated, and the coffee bed is prepared for extraction.
We begin with the bloom phase, allowing the coffee to release trapped gases and prepare for an even extraction. Controlled pours then follow at precise intervals, carefully managing flow rate and contact time to highlight the coffee’s sweetness, clarity, and complexity.
The OREA Z1’s unique design gives us exceptional control over the brewing process, resulting in a cleaner cup, enhanced flavour separation, and a more expressive representation of the coffee’s origin.
It’s a slower process, but one that lets every bean tell its story.
