Our name, Somdoun (เบชเบปเบกเบ”เบธเบ™), means *balance*, and it's not just a name, it's how every blend is built. Two pure leaves, Ms. White and Mr. Green, each paired with a flower-scented twin: Alba White (white tea + Michelia x alba) and Joy Green (green tea + Yellow Champaka), from the same floral family, distinguished by different colors and subtle scent profiles. In the highlands of Paksong, on the ancient volcanic soils of southern Laos, our small family tends its gardens of white and green tea โ€” grown slowly, harvested by hand, and packed with care.

Somdoun (เบชเบปเบกเบ”เบธเบ™) means balance in Lao. It is the word that guides everything we make: pure single-origin teas from our own plantation, and gentle blends with local fruits and flowers โ€” always searching for that quiet harmony between nature and flavour.

We are currently designing our tea house and bakery, which will open its doors around the end of the rainy season. A place to sit, breathe, and let the afternoon take its time. โ˜•
