Due to circumstances of planning and to make the race bigger and richer, the Kebirigo Road Race will be back next year (2019) on Friday, October 4, 2019. Let's get ready for Kenya's biggest 10km race! There will be no race this year. Thanks for the support.

After a short break, the Kebirigo 10km Road Race will be back on October 5, 2018, bigger and better. It was a strategic break and organisers shall unveil the new partnerships in the early part of 2018. Among the top athletes that have been nurtured through this race are world marathon record holder Dennis Kimetto, who was third in the 2011 Kebirigo race, former Boston Marathon champions Caroline Kilel and Caroline Rotich, Onesmus Nyerere, Nicholas Kipkemboi, Caroline Nyakagwa, former world cross country champion Emily Chebet among many others. Thanks for your support since 2003!

All foreign athletes will be received at JKIA airport courtesy of RunningSafaris, our partners who are creating an exciting itinerary for the event that shall also have a domestic & exciting package for Kenyan runners that include the following
-Airport transfers
-Airport taxes
-0vernight bookings + bed and breakfast (for late night/early arrivals)
DAY 1
-Easy road trip via with stop overs at the rift valley view point, a bathroom break en route before Narok town
-If lucky we get to stop briefly to see zebras, gazelles/antelopes, the secretary bird & feed baboons
-Lunch at in Narok town
-Proceed to Nyamira county via Bomet
DAY 2
-Booking and rest at Gurdian hotel (We recommend at least an extra full days total rest at hotel ahead of the race).
DAY 4
- Proceed in the morning to start line for the race
-Race & after race festivities
-Garden BBQ at Nyakemincha guest house gardens
-Coffee/drinks & unwind,rest, message therapy for athletes at Nyakemincha guest house gardens as you listen to Kisii traditional folk songs by nyatigoh ( player)
-back to hotel Guardian for evening stay and rest
DAY 5
Options
Travel to Lake Nakuru National park (Itinerary details available soon)
travel to Maasai mara game reserve(Itinerary details available soon)
-travel back to Nairobi
NB- domestic flights to Kisumu from JKIA also available, Kisumu city is hours by road to the venue with a lunch stop over and brief rest at ufanisi resort in Kisii
-Free event t-shirts and Kisii soap stone carving sovereigns

This year's event will revert to the original route of Nyachururu along the Kisii Chemosit road. Registration will be done at Nyachururu

Kebirigo trading center is 20 mins easy drive to Nyamira county. Runners can have lunch in various eateries within the trading center. We recommend Omega, Makuti and Sarafina. A meal of chicken and ugali will go between 280 to 350 depending....Look out for our volunteers with race badges who will guide you to where you want to go. our Secretariat will be at the diamond building in case you need assistance with and our situation room/media center will be at the Viongozi pastoral "senta".

Runners are advised to spend the night before the event(OCT 6TH) In KEBIRIGO trading center, Nyamira town or Kisii town so that they can be able to get to the start line on time. Our secretariat will provide runners with hotel details as well as facilitate bookings. Call us on 0720020255
