Welcome to KFC Kenya Located at Junction Mall, Galleria Mall and CBD- Kimathi Street & Mama Ngina, Woodvale Grove, Westgate Mall Westlands, Total Limuru Road Parklands, Total Mombasa Road, Garden City Mall and The Hub Karen. General Guidelines This page is a fun and friendly community where fans of KFC can communicate with the brand and other fans. We aim to promote an informative and enjoyable online experience for the members of our page. We support the Facebook Statement of Rights and Responsibilities and other related Facebook policies, and we expect you, the valued members of our Facebook community to do the same. The official terms of use issued by Facebook should govern all activities on our fan page. Community Partnership We’re partnering with you in making this community “so good,” so please treat the KFC page as your own page by respecting and protecting the rights of other members. We are very eager to hear from you, and we greatly encourage the posting of comments, questions, suggestions, photos, videos, and links about our products. Constructive criticism is always welcome, but excessive complaints or offensive criticism will not be permitted and if a pressing issue arises, please contact our Customer Service representative by calling the number indicated on our Contact Info section. Violations Any comments, posts, images, or videos that are uploaded on the KFC Kenya Facebook wall do not necessarily reflect the opinions of KFC, its employees, or any of its affiliates. As such, KFC is not held liable for any content that is posted on the Facebook wall unless otherwise stated. Please understand that we reserve the right to delete any content that is a violation of the Facebook terms or is contrary to our company values such as: a) Posts that defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights of others; b) Language or photos that are obscene, indecent, profane or otherwise objectionable; c) Any claims or information that is false, misleading, inaccurate, fraudulent, or deceptive, or that promotes illegal activities; d) Material that violates the copyright, trademark, patent, privacy, publicity or other intellectual property rights of another; e) Shared files that contain viruses, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of another's computer; f) Posts that advertise or offer to sell any goods or services or that otherwise are commercial in nature; g) Materials that violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law; h) Materials that include inflammatory religious or political content; i) Materials that contain references to a third party page or website; Penalties Anyone repeatedly posting material that falls into the above categories will be removed and/or banned from participating in the KFC page. Given that this page has fans that are of minor age, we will be strict in imposing rules on wall posts: 1st offense – The member will be given a warning via private message and the post will be deleted. 2nd offense – The member will be banned from the KFC fan page and the post will be deleted. Content Ownership In addition to the license that you grant to Facebook to use your User Content, you grant an irrevocable, perpetual, global and royalty-free license to KFC, its subsidiaries and affiliates and their respective licensees, successors, assigns and those acting under their permission, to reproduce, distribute, exhibit, publish, perform, modify, create derivative works based upon, and otherwise use the User Content that you post on the KFC Kenya page in any and all media now known or hereafter developed, with or without attribution to you, for advertising, promotion, publicity, trade, merchandising, packaging, public relations and media purposes and for any other lawful purposes whatsoever. The foregoing grant of rights includes, without limitation, the right of the KFC Parties to use, in any manner whatsoever, any information, designs, ideas, or concepts contained in such User Content (including, without limitation, any ideas pertaining to any products or advertising campaigns of the KFC Parties), with or without attribution to the you, for any purpose whatsoever, including, but not limited to, developing, manufacturing and marketing products and services. You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless KFC Kenya and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to reasonable attorney's fees) arising from any breach by you of any of these KFC Terms of Use and/or your User Content.
