We’re still taking in all the love from our announcement 🥹 Seeing how excited you are for Cafe 1812 makes us want to work even harder toward the dream of having a storefront of our own. Thank you for believing in us.

A little clarification before October 17: we’re not opening a permanent location just yet 😂 We’re popping up in a storefront for our two-year anniversary so you can step inside and experience what Cafe 1812 could one day become.

And while we’re sharing what’s next, we finally get to show you our new look. Our amazing new friend Maud of MaudCo Graphic Design brought this vision to life all the way from Australia 🥹🫂 Maud, thank you for seeing what makes Cafe 1812 us and giving it room to grow. You kept the heart of this little café in every detail.

Cafe 1812 began with the feeling of being welcomed. The coffee, the conversations, the people who came back and brought someone with them, that’s what built this. Our new look is bolder and timeless, but the invitation is the same: there’s a seat for you. ❤️

We can’t hold it in anymore..... 😭☕️

Imagine being able to visit Cafe 1812 whenever you want. Walking into our own storefront, ordering your favorite drink, grabbing a seat, and staying awhile.

Every day, we get closer and closer to that dream.

By the grace of God, we’ve been blessed with an opportunity to give you a glimpse of what that future could look like. And we’re officially ready to tell you:

CAFE 1812 IS HAVING ITS FIRST STOREFRONT CAFE DAY. ❤️

On October 17, we’re celebrating our second anniversary by popping up in a storefront right on the cusp of Somerset and North Brunswick and transforming it into our version of Cafe 1812.

This isn’t just about celebrating two years. It’s about celebrating the journey we’ve taken together to get here and inviting you into what we hope is a glimpse of our future.

And... we’ve been hiding something else. 👀

Since May, we’ve been quietly working on a complete rebrand of Cafe 1812, keeping the heart and the little details that make us, us, while reimagining what we hope will become our forever look. October 17 will be the first time you see it all.

The new Cafe 1812 brand. New materials. A revamped cart. New merch. And a space designed to show you what Cafe 1812 could one day feel like with a front door of our own.

We are so incredibly excited for this next chapter, and we can only attest it to the grace and love of God. We’ve been blessed not only with an amazing community that continues to show up and believe in us, but with people who believe in this dream so deeply that they’ve opened doors to help us get closer to it.

Who knows... maybe by our third anniversary, we’ll be opening the doors to our actual storefront. 👀

Until then, please keep Cafe 1812 and this journey in your prayers. 🤎

We hope you’ll join us for what will be our biggest Cafe 1812 cafe day yet.

And whether it’s at a pop-up, a storefront cafe day, or one day in a permanent home of our own...

There is and always will be a seat for you.

Your talents are so needed! Don’t let anyone talk you in to going for something you believe in 🫂

I don’t know where I would be in any of my endeavors if I listened to the doubt that comes with trying new things. The worst thing you can do is fail, which is honestly a blessing, because how else are you going to learn to get better?
