Achieving absolute formal purity through the "As Wall" philosophy.

Throughout the private quarters of Private residential, R&S Villa, the architecture relies on a succession of Linvisibile hinged doors designed to achieve complete visual mimetism with their surroundings.

To maintain a strict material continuum, the doors alternate custom claddings depending on the zone:
Canaletto Walnut cladding: Creating a seamless connection with the warm, rich wooden volumes of the home.
Natural Clay cladding: Blending directly into the textured clay walls, transforming the opening into a silent, uninterrupted surface.

By matching the exact textures of the walls, these flush systems ensure the architectural volumes remain clean, solid, and completely free from superfluous visual interruptions.

When integrating flush doors, do you prefer the warmth of natural wood claddings or the texturized look of raw clay?

In R&S Villa the opening systems step into the spotlight to manage transition and light. Entry to the main living area is defined by a sophisticated double leaves Linea Pocket door, featuring sleek anodized profiles and bronze-colored mesh glass.

This high-end aesthetic transitions into the kitchen with a remarkable custom-engineered system composed of two distinct leaves:
- One fixed leaf: Designed deliberately at a partial height, it integrates directly into an existing structural wall to create the evocative visual effect of an internal window.
- One sliding leaf: Operating smoothly alongside the partition, matching the exact same bronze mesh glass finish to preserve absolute aesthetic continuity.

How do you approach designing partition systems when restricted by existing structural walls? Let's discuss below.

Noble textures in perfect equilibrium: introducing Villa R&S.

Designed by Studio Gualtiero Sacchi in Italy’s Emilia Romagna region, this bespoke residential renovation represents a masterful dialogue between raw materials and high-end engineering.

Resin floors and clay walls establish a serene baseline, punctuated by warm Canaletto walnut volumes and deep green marble inserts.

How do you approach balancing rich organic textures with highly precise minimalist lines? Let's discuss in the comments.

Innovation begins when you redefine the classics.

The Linvisibile Concealed Sliding door moves away from traditional pocket doors by utilizing a refined cam system.

When closed, the 50mm panel aligns completely flush with the surrounding wall, eliminating unsightly gaps, frames, and jambs. When opened, it glides smoothly inside the wall to maximize space.

Available in both a manual version with an elegant flush-fitting handle and a motorized version paired with a flush-to-wall push-button panel, it provides a seamless operational experience. Tailor-made for premium residential and contract projects, it supports an extraordinary array of finishes, from natural wood and fine leathers to natural stone and custom metal coatings.

When we design minimalist spaces, we naturally focus on eliminating visual noise. We remove heavy frames, hide jambs, and strip away decorative moldings to achieve seamless continuity.

However, reducing visual noise often heightens another architectural challenge: acoustic privacy. Large-format spaces, polished surfaces, and flush walls require strategic sound management to remain functional and private.

At Linvisibile, we engineered a solution where radical aesthetics and certified performance coexist. Our Filo 5 and Filo 10 hinged doors provide high-performance acoustic isolation (up to 37 dB), proving that a flush-to-wall system can deliver heavy-duty performance.

Architects and specifiers, how do you balance acoustic ratings with minimalist aesthetics in your current projects?
Let's discuss in the comments.

When a concealed door closer is installed or adjusted incorrectly, it can do the opposite of what it’s designed for: the hinged leaf feels heavier, movement becomes less fluid, and closing can be inconsistent.

In this short video we show the correct best practice workflow:
-verify positioning and alignment
-fine-tune the closer to balance ease of opening with controlled closing
-test after each adjustment to confirm smooth operation

The spatial hierarchy of FS apartment shifts effortlessly through our Modular Sliding System, Linea version.

Used to separate the kitchen from the living area, these sliding panels feature a sophisticated combination of clear glass embedded with coffee linen inserts.

This unique texture introduces a delicate woven layer that filters views without blocking light, adding an organic, tailored warmth to the contemporary space.

When fully open, the system transforms the layout into a continuous open space; when closed, it elegantly masks the functional cooking zone while acting as an architectural feature in its own right.

How do you balance the need for physical separation and visual light flow in open-plan renovations?

Architectures within architectures: rethinking urban layouts in Bologna.

Designed by CONTROLUCE architettura, FS apartment addresses the constraints of existing building heritage through a bespoke "magic box." This structural unit acts as a functional bookcase interface in the living room, hiding the concealed access points to storage and private quarters.

Total visual integration is achieved when architectural hardware serves a higher spatial strategy. Our Filo 5 Hinged doors disappear directly into the custom bookcase layout, managing traffic flows to the guest bathroom and sleeping quarters without interrupting the geometric rhythm of the room.

Which spatial constraint do you find hardest to solve without flush-to-wall systems?

The evolution of texture continues.

Following our look at the softness of fabrics, we are shifting the light toward the brilliant, architectural precision of laminates by Homapal, another extraordinary finish available for our Infinito products.

Homapal brings an entirely new dimension to the interior landscape. It is a collection defined by depth, catching every shifting ray of light to transform a simple wall partition into a living sculptural element.

From deep, hand-brushed bronzes to sleek, contemporary silvers, these surfaces bring a refined, industrial edge to luxury design without sacrificing the seamless integration you expect from Linvisibile.

The Infinito system remains the ultimate canvas.

Which side of luxury speaks to your current project: the tactile warmth of textile, or the commanding presence of metal? Let us know below.

Mastering the curve | Solving the "Liquid Space" challenge in modern layouts.

As interior architecture shifts toward organic forms and non-orthogonal geometries, the technical demands on openings have increased. A standard door in a curved partition is no longer an option for high-end projects—it creates a visual "stutter" in an otherwise fluid design.

At Linvisibile, we’ve perfected the engineering behind the Curved Hinged door to maintain architectural continuity in the most complex layouts:
-Dual-Side Precision: Our leaves are manufactured to match the specific concave or convex radius of your wall, ensuring a perfectly flush result.
-Custom Radius Engineering: We support everything from tight 700 mm turns to grand 2600 mm sweeps.
-Material Fluidity: Whether it’s timber, lacquer, or textured clay, the door leaf carries the same finish as the wall for a total-look effect.

Minimalism is about the absence of disruption. By removing traditional frames and moldings, the door is no longer an obstacle, it’s a continuation.

How are you handling non-orthogonal geometries in your latest specs? Explore our technical guide on curved systems below.
