Kinda stoked about this!! In 2021 and me after a few trips to Norway and learning about their right to Roam law, and just wanting some private raw land for ourselves bought our property in Maine. We then little by little began making improvements and decided that when we were not there we should make sure it was getting used. So we put it up on Hipcamp. We didn’t do it for the $ we did it because we felt it important to share something that not everyone gets to experience. We decided to keep it basic, private and limit access to site per stay. After 4 years we received so many compliments and seen so many photos of people getting to enjoy our property that we’ve found it very fulfilling. We were just recognized as one of the best Spots in Maine. It’s nice when others recognize what you’re trying to accomplish.
