Hey friends! 🇮🇸🐴
I wanted to share something new I’m offering at Leirubakki this winter.

We're hosting a 6-day / 5-night retreat at our family farm in South Iceland, where we breed Icelandic horses and run our small countryside hotel.

There will be only 4 guests at a time, so the experience will be very personal.

You’ll get to take part in everyday farm life with us; feeding and meeting the horses, take lessons and ride our wonderful horses, explore South Iceland with us, soak in geothermal water and enjoy being in Iceland alongside locals!

You don’t need to be an experienced Icelandic horse rider — just someone who loves horses, Iceland and the idea of doing something a little different.

2026 dates are:
25.-30. october
8.-13. november
