Little info about Harihareshwar
Harihareshwar is a Village in Raigad district, in Maharashtra, India.
It is surrounded by three hills named Harihareshwar, Harshinachal and Pushpadri.
The river Savitri meets the Arabian Sea near the Village of Harihareshwar,
where the temple of Lord Harihareshwar is located,
known to have been blessed by Lord Shiva.
Hence Harihareshwar is often referred to as Dev-ghar or “House of God“,

Besides a major pilgrimage centre,
Harihareshwar has two popular beaches,
one to the north west
&
the other to the south west of the temple.
Thus Harihareshwar is not just a Religious Tourism centre
but also comes under Beach Tourism.
These beaches attract many visitors as they are
clean & wide
With Water Sports & fun activities such as
horse riding, toy car racing etc.
Mr. Rajkumar Chandrasen Chavan (aged 54 yrs.)
resigned from Central Railway department (Government of India) in 2004 after 17 years of service and started the groundwork for a Resort which later was named as “Harihareshwar Beach Resort”.
Mr. Chavan has 13 yrs. of experience in the field of Resort Management and a total of over 30 years of experience in Travel & Tourism.

The resort was started with a small canteen and parking facility, and since then it has climbed up the ladder while gratifying the needs of all the tourists and devotees that visit Harihareshwar.
Thereafter it was well developed
with Cottages & Rooms with advanced facilities, gourmets
and now it is known to be the most popular place for holiday enjoyment in Harihareshwar.
Today this resort has

A family restaurant, A Veg Restaurant
&
the only permit bar in Harihareshwar.

It is well established and trusted name in the Harihareshwar and surrounding areas.
It is now a proud moment to say that Harihareshwar Beach Resort is the 1st and only resort at Harihareshwar that is registered with all respective authorities and is uniquely the closest resort to the Harihareshwar beach and temple.
Plans
For The New Resort
Success and gratification around achievements of the first resort was the impetus for the idea and foundation of a new second resort, as Residency II
For this new Resort, Mr. Rajkumar Chavan and his daughter Mrs Beena M. Bandavalkar ( Beena R Chavan) will be using 3 acer land out of the 12 acres of land owned at Prime location in Harihareshwar.
The planned resort would be built in 12,210 sq. mtrs of land with all amenities with a total construction of 3809 sq. mtrs thus leaving ample open space in total plot area.
A plan to build a multi-storey building at the entrance of Harihareshwar is under development.
The building’s location is at prime spot and close to entrance of Harihareshwar. The Location is so Prime that every visitor of HariHareshwar will view this noticeable structure while entering and exiting this very famous religious & tourist place.
The Resort has planned for Ground floor + four upper floors + Pent house including multi cuisine restaurant. There will be 72 rooms at upper floors, Restaurant & Banquet at Ground floor etc. for the guests totalling the area of over 41000sq ft ie. 3809sq m.
This project is expected to be completed in 18 months.( by the End of year 2018)

For The New Resort
Accommodation
Residency Resort consist of 72 luxurious rooms with air conditioned (AC) facility in all rooms.
The Resort’s building has been designed with passenger lift for 8-10 persons with DG Power Back-up.
Restaurant
The Resort will have gourmet facility with a separate 24*7 coffee shop and a Banquet Hall for 100 Person as per plan.
It has planned to have a standard size swimming pool with changing room facility for ladies and gents.
Premises around resort will have lush green landscapes to beautify the resort.
Plan includes a multi cuisine restaurant with a fantastic view of a Mango farms and open lawns, Swimming pool and Mountains.
Bar
40 seater permit bar overlooking the lawns and water bodies attached to the multicultural cuisines restaurant has been eloquently designed.
Conference Room
Conference room will be at top floor close to the Open Terrace to accommodate approximately 25-30 personnel at a time.
Health Club
The health club will be close to the swimming pool, which will have the most modern fitness equipment along with Ayurvedic massage therapies.
Swimming pool
The Resort’s amenities has designed with standard size swimming pool with changing room facility for ladies and gents with the lush green landscape at all surroundings of the main building.

•The Resort has planned with indoor games facility, mainly Table-Tennis, Carrom, Snooker, Squash, etc.
•It also has planned the outdoor games facility like Badminton, Volleyball, Box-Cricket, Cycling, Adventure games like rappelling, rock climbing, etc.
Eco-friendly foresight
The entire resort has been planned with a foresight of having a close touch with nature and eco-friendly activities. Fresh local produce will be given preference when it comes to using vegetables and fruits in this resort.
The Resort will make use of Solar Energy thus conserving electricity and reduce CO2 emissions.
Lot of emphasis has been given to water management, rainwater harvesting and waste water will be treated and recycled.
The recycled water will be used for forestation, natural growth and gardening.
Special wormy culture compost pits will be prepared for waste disposal.
Solar hot water system will provide running hot water round the clock.

It has been a dream of Mr Rajkumar Chavan to empower the natives with knowledge and training while bringing new employment opportunities to Harihareshwar so villagers can prosper and improve quality of living standards.
This New Resort will hopefully create enough Jobs at Harihareshwar and fuel in increasing Tourism while attracting investors from all around the world and thus making Harihareshwar visible on the financial map of this great state of Maharashtra.
