WOW… what a week it has been!

We are absolutely thrilled to share some more fantastic news — and what a way to round off an incredible week!

We are delighted that Castle Varagh Hotel, Tom’s Bar & Bistro and The Stables Tea Rooms at Tullynally Castle have been shortlisted as finalists in the Mullingar Chamber Business Awards 2026!

To be recognised once is an honour… but to now have three fantastic businesses and collaborations represented across three incredible categories is something we are incredibly proud of.

Their commitment to tourism, heritage, culture and the visitor experience is truly exceptional, and we are very proud to work alongside such a wonderful destination.

WE’VE BEEN SHORTLISTED!

A huge, heartfelt thank you to all of our wonderful customers, friends, family, regulars and supporters who took the time to nominate The Stables Tea Rooms at Tullynally Castle in the Midlands 103 Hospitality Awards.

We are absolutely delighted and incredibly honoured to announce that The Stables Tea Rooms has been shortlisted for Café/Coffee Shop of the Year in the Restaurant & Hospitality Awards! ☕

To be recognised in this way means so much to us. The Stables has had another incredible season, and this shortlisting is a wonderful acknowledgement of the passion, dedication and hard work that goes on behind the scenes every single day.

Most importantly, this is a celebration of our incredible team. From the early mornings and busy days to the little details that make a visit to The Stables special, every member of our team plays such an important part in what we do. We couldn't be prouder of them.

We were delighted to receive this lovely review from one of our recent visitors to The Stables Tea Rooms at Tullynally Castle & Gardens.

From a delicious breakfast and freshly prepared treats to exploring the beautiful gardens, it sounds like they had a wonderful day with us.

There are so many peaceful corners to discover, beautiful views to enjoy and plenty of space to simply slow down and take it all in.

Oh, hello autumn… we see you

There’s something rather magical about this time of year at Tullynally. The gardens begin to shift, the trees start to turn, and nature slowly prepares to wind down and fold itself into autumn.

So why not take a moment?

Wander through the woodland paths, take in the walled gardens, pause beside the lakes, admire the magnificent mature trees… and then come and sit a while with us at The Stables Tearooms.

Enjoy a lovely coffee, something homemade and a little bit of time to simply slow down and watch the season change around you.

Because sometimes, you don’t need to do much at all.
Just come to Tullynally, take a breath, and enjoy the moment.
