President Paul Kagame says African unity must begin with stronger border control and dealing with undocumented foreigners across the continent. According to the statement, Rwanda has given undocumented foreigners 48 hours to leave the country.

Many Africans believe it is time for African nations to put their citizens, security, and future first.

And no citizen wants to wake up feeling forgotten in their own land.

Many leaders and people in power continue failing the continent, forcing millions of young Africans to leave their homes searching for survival elsewhere.

The pain on both sides is real… and that is what makes this so heartbreaking.

To our African brothers and sisters traveling to other countries: please follow the legal process, respect immigration laws, and avoid overstaying your stay.

One wrong decision by a few people can create tension and hatred toward many innocent Africans.

If your documents expire, renew them or return home peacefully. Africa needs unity, respect, and discipline — not division and conflict.

Let us protect both our dignity and the image of Africa.

Fuel and electricity protests in Roysambu escalated dramatically as youths overpowered police officers in running battles.
