🔥 Apple, Cheddar & Pecan Baguette Bites Recipe 👩‍🍳 ✨

Ingredients

For the Baguette Bites

1 French baguette, sliced into ½-inch pieces

2 tbsp butter or olive oil, for brushing

1–2 apples, thinly sliced (Honeycrisp or Gala recommended)

6 oz sharp cheddar cheese, sliced or shredded

¼ cup toasted pecans, chopped

1–2 tsp honey for drizzling

Optional: pinch of cinnamon or flaky sea salt

Directions

Toast the Baguette

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush lightly with butter or olive oil.

Bake 6–8 minutes until golden and crisp.

Prepare the Topping

Layer each toasted slice with a piece of cheddar and a slice of apple.

Melt the Cheese

Return to the oven for 3–5 minutes until cheese begins to melt.

Finish & Garnish

Sprinkle toasted pecans over the top.

Drizzle lightly with honey and add a pinch of cinnamon or sea salt if desired.

Serve

Serve warm as an appetizer, snack, or part of a cheese board.
