Why is it called Earl Grey? 🫖

One of the world’s most recognizable teas is named after a British Prime Minister but exactly how his name became attached to the blend is still debated.

From a dramatic story involving a Chinese diplomat to a custom blend supposedly created for the Grey family’s estate, Earl Grey’s origin is wrapped in a little mystery.
